The 20th Annual Myrtle Beach Polar Plunge takes place on February 1, 2025, at Sands Ocean Club – and we’re celebrating two decades of plunging to support Special Olympics South Carolina. 🧊🌊
Your involvement and all our great volunteers and supporters make for a big wonderful event. Our 20th anniversary is geared to setting new goals. Everyone’s participation raises kind awareness and crucial funds for the Special Olympics South Carolina. This incredible organization provides year-round athletic training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, helping them improve their fitness, demonstrate courage, and experience joy.

- Take the PLUNGE as an individual or part of a team.
- Donate to support a plunger or cheer them on.

For a minimum donation of $50, you can join the Coolest Event of the Year and earn some exciting prizes:

More than a cold and refreshing splash in the ocean! We’ll have vendors with food, there will be fun music, participants wearing costumes, and more!
- Food for sale this year includes $5 BBQ Sandwiches, $3 Hot Dogs, and $3 Cups of Chili
- Beverages include Bottled Water, Sodas, and Hot Chocolate at $2 each
