And this year, we’re celebrating a HUGE milestone—TWENTY incredible years of plunging for a purpose! That’s right, the 20th Annual Myrtle Beach Polar Plunge is just around the corner, and we want YOU to be a part of this special event benefiting Special Olympics South Carolina.

Whether you’re plunging into the chilly Atlantic or supporting from the sidelines, your participation helps raise awareness and crucial funds for Special Olympics. This incredible organization provides year-round athletic training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, helping them improve their fitness, demonstrate courage, and experience joy.
Here’s how YOU can make an impact:
- Take the PLUNGE as an individual or part of a team.
- Support a plunger by making a donation or cheering them on.
- Help us reach our 2025 goal of $200,000 to support the 30,707 athletes across South Carolina!
For just a $50 minimum donation, you can make a SPLASH in the Coolest Event of the Year! And don’t worry, it’s more than just a quick dip in the ocean—there will be food, fun costumes, music, merchandise, and much more.
Last year, over 700 participants raised more than $180,000 for Special Olympics. Let’s make the 20th anniversary the best year yet!
